In less than a year, this Oklahoma permanency worker has inspired a family and a CASA volunteer to sing his praises for the support he provides to foster parents and birth families.
As with many crises, this one is hitting vulnerable people the worst. And it’s possible that more children will be in need of safe, loving homes as we move toward a “new normal.”
Foster parents change lives—both children’s and their own.
“Many times I’ve thought: Why do I come back every single day? Ultimately, I keep coming back because I know that I am making a difference.”
